MelEssence Hair Co. was born during lockdown, a time that allowed me to slow down, research, and truly understand what my hair needed to thrive. I wanted to grow my hair, but I found myself frustrated with store-bought products. Long ingredient lists, hidden fragrances, and unfamiliar chemicals made it difficult to trust what I was putting on my hair. I spent hours reading labels, only to feel unsure about what was beneficial and what wasn’t. So, I decided to go back
to the basics. I began researching natural, time-honoured ingredients known to support healthy hair growth. Ingredients rooted in nature, tradition, and results without unnecessary additives. That research completely changed my hair journey.
